Sue BlackCONSULTING DIRECTOR & NUTRITIONISTAbout MeIn 1990 I opened my first Children’s nursery which would eventually become the Astley Grange Nursery Group, which I owned and managed. The business grew over 16 years to 7 nurseries across Edinburgh before it was sold in 2006.
After the sale of the nursery group I attended Art College for four years. I also worked on a voluntary basis for the Princess Trust, delivering part of there “explore programme” for youngsters with business ideas to develop, and have raised money, organising events for Leith School of Art, to allow students who otherwise could not attend the college to have support with their fees. More recently I have been expanding my knowledge through the study of nutrition and healthy eating. I am passionate about nutrition and the huge benefits it holds for all of us. I believe in healthy and sustainable eating and today run a small consultancy business Well Balanced Nutrition. Qualifications
Activities & HobbiesWhen I’m not cooking and developing new recipes, I enjoy painting, yoga and tennis. I generally love to keep fit and go walking whenever I can. I’m always ready to try new things and learn new skills.
