We are always open to feedback from parents and even our children. Below are a some recent reviews from our parents and carers. You can see more reviews on our Facebook Page and on our Google Profile. We don't pick and choose feedback and we ask all our parents regularly, not just a select few.
What a fantastic nursery. My little boy loves going to Flying Colours and has made some amazing friendships even with the staff. The communication from the nursery is great too, Arran is always on the ball keeping everyone updated. Although they are a great nursery they are always coming out with new ideas to try and improve which is why I would highly recommend anyone registering here.

We moved my son here after moving house and it’s been the best decision! Staff are all lovely and attentive, after holiday he came running back in for Cuddles. They’ve been super flexible with us and brilliant at keeping us up to date. Looking forward to sending our daughter too

I decided on the spot that flying colours was the ‘right’ nursery for my children. My eldest slotted in immediately and absolutely loved it. My youngest is more shy and anxious but he was also made to feel welcome and comfortable in his surroundings. They really take care to maintain both inside and outside and continuously make improvements and additions.  Communication is very good, with updates on the app and regular newsletters and parents evenings.

Absolutely amazing nursery! Both my kids go here and they just love it. Amazing outdoor space and a fab team that keep you updated constantly. Highly recommend.

Absolutely incredible nursery. We did a lot of research into nurseries when we moved back to the area and were very impressed by everything that Flying Colours offered: the food is nutritious and a lot of consideration clearly goes into the menu. The facility itself is brilliant and has oodles of outdoor space which was very important to us. The staff are incredible and helped our son settle into the toddlers group so well, and he is now in pre-school there and is so happy. He comes home every day telling us how much he enjoyed his time there. Cannot recommend this nursery highly enough and look forward to our second little boy joining later this year.

My daughter has been going to Flying Colours for a year and a half and it really is a truly incredible nursery. I was nervous about putting her in at 9 months old but the staff are so wonderful and put me at ease from the moment I met them, they also keep me updated on what my daughter is up to throughout the day via an app which is so handy. She has come on leaps and bounds since joining and is so excited when we pull up outside the nursery, going in is never a problem for her, she loves it. The team that look after her are so good at what they do, I can tell they truly care for each and every child and my daughter absolutely adores them. The nursery is so well run from directors through to management and very well organised. It is well equipped and a perfect facility for its requirements. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Flying Colours to any parent.​

My little girl has been going here since she 9 months old and is now nearly 2 and a half. Cannot recommend this nursery enough, the staff are incredible and curriculum for the children is fantastic.

Absolutely brilliant preschool! My little boy settled in quickly simply because the staff are fantastic and together with his lovely classmates made him very welcome. So far, he has been to a pantomime, participated in his first nativity play and had trips to the local retirement home, as well as various workshops and a weekly football class! Facilities are extensive and there is a lovely outdoor play area which is used every day. The children are also taught about all sorts of themes and celebrations, including Christmas, Easter, Valentine's Day, Pancake Day, Chinese New Year, St Andrew's Day.... it is wonderfully inclusive. Highly recommend for parents wanting a very caring and responsive play environment.​

Wonderful nursery with wonderful staff who really go above and beyond for the children. Management are a wonderful team and I couldn't be happier that I found this lovely nursery.

I decided to move my little girl to flying colours nursery from her previous nursery and wow what a difference! She’s only on her second week and I cannot believe the difference already. The baby room staff have been fantastic with her, updating me via the app with her progress which is just brilliant. They genuinely have interest and care for the babies they look after, they are all so friendly and create a lovely happy and calm atmosphere for the babies. Can not recommend flying colours enough, wish I had found them from the beginning ! X

Flying Colours is the second nursery my son has been to, and there are a number of differentiating factors that make it better than the last one. The three best things for me about this nursery are: the quality of their staff, which is excellent; their online app that allows you to see at a glance how your child is getting on; and the outside spaces that allow your child to play safely and extensively outside as well as inside. It’s a great nursery and they really care about making your child’s time there as positive, social and educational as possible. I’d highly recommend it.

We spent a while looking for a good nursery for our daughter, as soon as we had a look round Flying Colours Nursery and spoke to Arran and Laura we knew it was the nursery for our daughter. I can’t express enough how amazing the staff are, they are genuinely caring and great with the kids. Same goes for the management - any queries and questions are answered and resolved promptly in the best manner.

Our daughter had so much fun at the nursery in the 1.5 years that she attended, sadly we had to change our daughter’s nursery as we moved out of the area but if we ever go back and are in need of childcare we would definitely go back to Flying Colours!

My 3.5 year old son has been here for over a year and it has been an incredible period of growth and happiness for him. The nursery has grown and developed a lot over the year. Growing in numbers of staff and kids and also in terms of structure and the amount of games, activities, learning and classes they offer. My son's favourite place is still the garden - where he climbs trees, races his friends on trikes, grows flowers and veg, digs holes and plays group games - his favourites are duck duck goose and parachute games.

Everyone who works there is positive, fun and really nurturing and they work really well together. Such a contrast to other nurseries I've been in where I've always found a combination of nice and old school moody, strict types!

I'm really sad to be moving my son onto school nursery in August, but it's the right thing to do to get him socialising with his school peers - as we don't live locally! We commute here as its by far the best private nursery on this side of town.

Thank you Flying Colours for giving and caring so much. Both my son and I will miss you all. Feel like we are both leaving so many friends behind.

My youngest daughter has been attending flying colours for a while now and whilst we as parents are happy she is moving on to school this year it is sad that she has to leave this nursery behind. The staff are all so friendly and took a genuine interest in her development. She has always been excited each morning to get up and wolf her breakfast down just so she can see her friends and teachers every morning!

They consistently keep parents up to date via the Famly app and the range of different things the kids do every day always has the child's learning right at the forefront. This truly is a wonderful nursery and I can't recommend them highly enough.

Thank you to all the staff and I truly feel any parent who want to be safe in the knowledge your child is in a positive environment and is learning to their full potential to choose Flying Colours!

This is a gem of a nursery. If you have ask someone else to look after your precious cargo then choose somewhere the staff smile, support and care. Excellent nursery and wonderful ethos.

My little one has been attending Flying Colours since July to allow me to return to work. He has thoroughly enjoyed attending, allowing him to socialise with others and enabling him to thrive with his development. The staff there are caring and treat each child as an individual, taking into consideration their daily needs and parents wishes. I personally loved the online diary, which not only gave me peace of mind that he was settled, eating and drinking with the videos and pictures, but also enabled my sons Dad who works away the opportunity to see what he had been up to also. The nursery offers different classes throughout the week, and involves parents through meetings and regular email updates with what's going on. Overall I can not rate Flying Colours any less than five stars, they are simply incredible!!

Flying Colours is exactly what we were looking for in a nursery. The team is friendly and genuine, the children are smiley and happy and the atmosphere is caring and inviting - not to mention the clean and fresh facilities. Couldn't praise Laura, Arran and the team more. Thank you for taking such good care of our wee one.

I am so glad that I made the decision to move my child to Flying Colours. I have had trouble with settling him in other nurseries but my son is the most settled that he has ever been and that's down to the the friendly and approachable nursery staff. The innovative ideas which make learning fun is a big hit for my son! Fantastic nursery!

We made the decision to move to flying colours from a previous nursery as it had modern facilities, fantastic outdoor space, widely experienced staff and an overall great feel. Our son has settled in extremely well and looks forward to his days at nursery. A big thank you to all the of team for their excellent level of care.

Very pleased with Flying Colours Nursery - my son looks forward to his nursery days. It's a lovely, nurturing environment with great communication from the staff each day and many age specific activities for the children. The outdoor space is large and really well designed.

​Fantastic nursery - my daughter has settled in so well, she always comes home stimulated and content - I am very happy with all aspects of care given, such a lovely friendly environment - all staff are very approachable, helpful & attentive to the children and parents needs, indoor and outdoor facilities are fantastic , Wall displays are ever changing with the children's art work and plenty to take home to. I would highly recommend this nursery to parents in the surrounding areas. The nursery is very professionally run , The communication with parents is excellent ,Such a lovely happy atmosphere! 10/10

Finally I found a nursery where I can leave my children without any worries and in the safe hands of Arran and team. It has one of the best infrastructure and is very clean. The staff are amazing and have taken really good care of my children. Both my children love it there and I can see them being more confident and independent. Heartfelt thanks to the fantastic team and thanks so much for looking after my children.

We feel very blessed that our girl is able to attend such a great nursery. The love, care and consideration shown to her by the staff is second to none and it is very comforting to us that she is well cared for. Our little girl loves going there and actively asks to go, showing how much she enjoys it. The facilities are also excellent and we are very impressed by the level of attention to cleanliness, indoor and outdoor play and nutrition.
