Healthy Living
At our nursery, we embrace a holistic approach to healthy living, understanding that well-being grows through care, activity, and nourishment. We support both the physical and emotional needs of each child, fostering a safe, happy, and confident environment. Our thoughtfully designed spaces balance active play, quiet rest, and imaginative exploration, helping children flourish in ways suited to their individual needs.
Outdoor areas play a key role in our ethos, offering opportunities for creativity, learning, and a connection with nature. These spaces inspire exploration and nurture a love for the outdoors. Equally, our dedication to providing nutritious meals supports the development of lifelong healthy habits. By prioritising balanced nutrition alongside active engagement, we help children thrive both physically and emotionally.

Healthy Eating
We’re committed to providing up to 15 fresh, high-quality meals weekly, meeting half of your child’s nutritional needs. Our meals are crafted in partnership with a local nutritionist and benchmarked against national guidelines, supporting your child’s growth, learning, play, and rest. Freshly prepared each day by our skilled in-house chefs, the menu rotates every four weeks and undergoes regular reviews to ensure variety and quality.
Our guiding principles prioritise balanced, nutritious meals. We minimise refined sugars and include ample servings of fresh fruits, vegetables, and whole foods. Each meal incorporates high-quality proteins, essential fats, and, whenever possible, organic and free-range ingredients. To promote healthy growth and development, we refrain from adding salt to our dishes.

Local Walks
There’s something truly special about the simplicity of a walk with nursery children. Each outing is an adventure—whether it’s sparking new interests, building confidence, or inspiring imaginative play back at the nursery. The journey itself is a vital part of the experience, providing a safe and exciting way for children to connect with the world around them.
We’re fortunate to have so much close by—a woodland trail, a park, local shops (including the essential post office), and even a beach! While daily outings aren’t always possible, we embrace every chance to explore. These little adventures are woven into our nursery life, enriching the children’s experiences and nurturing a love for discovery.

Queens Manor Care Home
Since 2019, we’ve partnered with Queens Manor Care Home to connect our pre-school children with its residents through weekly visits. These intergenerational sessions are a highlight for everyone, featuring activities like dancing, painting, cooking, and simply spending time together.
The impact is profound. Children develop empathy, social skills, and emotional well-being, while residents enjoy the energy, creativity, and companionship the children bring. To ensure inclusivity, we rotate attendance so every child has the opportunity to take part and form meaningful connections.
This partnership celebrates the power of shared experiences, fostering joy and relationships that span generations. It enriches the lives of children and residents alike, creating a sense of community through simple yet impactful moments of togetherness.
