• The nursery is open from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday. Our nursery is open year-round, except for the Easter long weekend and the Christmas period.

  • Fees from August 2025 - July 2026

    • Full Day (8am-6pm): £86.00

    • Morning (8am-1pm): £54.00

    • Afternoon (1pm-6pm): £48.00

Fees include meals, snacks, resources, walks, and access to our online platform ‘Famly’.

Fees are due in advance, and we issue invoices mid-month for the following month. Unfortunately there can be no refunds for sickness or holidays. The days that we are closed have been taken into account when setting the daily charges. We will ask for 12 equal monthly instalments based on a 51 week year.

Fees are reviewed annually and are based on the previous year’s running costs. Increases are normally effective from 1st August and we will always endeavour to provide at least 3 months notice of any change.

  • We care for children from 9 months old until they start school. We operates a minimum session policy of 20 hours. This can be two full days, four half days, or any combination. Please note, however, that we are currently unable to accomodate half day sessions in our baby and toddler rooms.

The length of our waiting list depends on age and sessions. Morning and mid-week sessions are generally more popular and will carry a longer wait in most cases. You will be contacted based on whether there is a match between the days available and your stated preferences.

  • We will always do our best to offer you additional "ad hoc" sessions when you need them. These sessions can be booked through our online platform 'Famly' and we try to be as flexible as we can when availability allowed.

  • We work in partnership with the City of Edinburgh Council to provide funded places to eligible 2 year olds and all 3-5 year old children.

Any session beyond the funded hours will be billed at our normal rate. When paying for additional hours and where more than one rate of session is taken (e.g. Full-Day and AM), the funded hours will be taken from the lower rate first, leaving the higher rate as the billable sum.
